P@H Checklist

P@H tickets are essentially the same as any other ticket. You just need to make sure you print the ticket correctly and take it with you!

Printing Your Ticket

You can print the ticket straight after payment and from your account via the P@H home page up until the departure time of the outward train.

When printing your ticket make sure that:

  • The ticket is printed on A4 white paper with a minimum weight of 70-80 gsm (most printer papers).
  • The printer settings are set to print on A4. Tickets falling inside of these margins for example A5 printed on A4 sheet of paper will not be accepted.
  • Tickets are printed in normal print mode. Tickets printed in any other mode, for example draft mode, will not be accepted.
  • The print is clear and free from any smudges or bands, for example as a result of a print cartridge running low on ink or faulty printer. All text must be clearly readable.

Failing to meet these conditions could result in your ticket being declared invalid and you having to pay the full fare on board the train.

Please note we do not provide technical support for Adobe Acrobat Viewer, printers or computer hardware.

When you have printed your ticket:

  • Check ticket details are correct.
  • Check the greyscale bar on the ticket. You should see 4 different scales of grey.
  • Check that the ticket is printed on A4, white paper and sized accordingly.
  • Please remember to complete the survey e-mailed to you. It's short and will help us make the service we provide better.
